Obituary

Graveside service for Alvin "Stymie" Fischer age 67, of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at the Chattanooga Cemetery with Tater Paschal, Billy Harmon and Vivian Garza officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mr. Fischer passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Southwestern Medical Center in Lawton.

Alvin Glenn Fischer was born July 3, 1953, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Herman Benjamin and Crystal Mozelle (Cooper) Fischer.  He attended Indiahoma Public Schools prior to moving to Cache.  He later returned to Indiahoma where he was active in the Future Farmers of America program and graduated from Indiahoma High School with the Class of 1971.  On November 9, 2012, he and Judy (Griffin) Calkins were united in marriage in Lawton, Oklahoma.  Stymie loved the outdoors; he ranched and cowboyed in Comanche and Tillman Counties his entire life.  Judy was the love of his life; when you saw one, you would see the other, they were inseparable.  If anything could ever melt that rough exterior, it was his grandchildren, they were his pride and joy!

He is survived by his wife, Judy Fischer of the home; his mother, Mozelle Fischer of Lawton, Oklahoma; his children, Brandi Hargrove and her husband Jimmy of Lawton, Oklahoma, Cassie Malone and her husband Trevor of Hickory Ridge, Arkansas, Heather Tran and her husband Tuan of Coppell, Texas, Cody Fischer of Covington, Texas, Carol Jannaman and her husband Michael of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Julane Riggins and her husband Bryan of Frederick, Oklahoma; two brothers, Vernon Fischer of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma and Randy "Pete" Fischer and his wife Joyce of Mountain View, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren, D Jay Molina, Jory Molina, Justin Due and his companion Emily Neely, Jamie Jannaman, Jessi Jannaman, Bryanna Riggins, Trenton Jannaman, Dalton McKinney, Whitney Huddleston and her husband Rance, Rusty Hargrove and his wife Marissa, Kaegan Tran, Haddie Dru Malone, and Rex Malone; fourteen great-grandchildren, Lincoln Molina, Elias Molina, Paislee McKinney, Logan McKinney, Tucker McKinney and Allie McKinney, Cheyanne Huddleston, Clay Huddleston, Baby Cooper Huddleston on his way, Kiyson Hargrove, Titus Hargrove, Willow Hargrove, Liam Hargrove, and Riverr Hargrove.  He was also survived by an aunt, uncle, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Fischer; and one brother, Marlan Fischer.

Memorial contribution may be made to the donor's choice in memory of Alvin "Stymie" Fischer.

The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday evening, January 26, 2021, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick, from 6 to 8 p.m.
