Funeral service for former Cache resident Andrea Wakefield Zaring age 47, of Tulsa, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 W. Gladstone Ave., Frederick, Oklahoma with Rev. Johnny Flores officiating. Andrea passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019, at her home in Tulsa.

Andrea Merea (Wakefield) Zaring was born October 4, 1971, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Ernest Abel and Artith Ann (Thompson) Wakefield. She attended Cache Public Schools, and later graduated from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City. Andrea had a great love for animals; and was a very talented makeup artist.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Artie and Mark Barefoot of Cache, Oklahoma; her father and step-mother, Ernie and Patte Wakefield of Lawton, Oklahoma; one son, Zack Strickland of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Alice and Morrigan Burk of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Audrey Wakefield Keck of Woodward, Oklahoma, Katharina Wakefield and her wife Migdalia of Lawton, Oklahoma and Carolyn Wakefield of Lawton, Oklahoma; one brother, Brian Ballzigler of Maine; a special friend, Fred Allen of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charley and Betsy Thompson, Mary Sue Runyan, and Alveston Wakefield.
