Former Frederick resident Anita June Mullins age 97, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020, in Austin, Texas.  She was laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Lloyd Paul Mullins in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery, Frederick, Oklahoma.

Anita June (Cunningham) Mullins was born December 5, 1922, in Bowie, Texas. Her parents were Earl and Eunice (Mershon) Cunningham.  June attended and graduated from Frederick Public Schools.  She also graduated from business school and worked for many years for the building inspectors of Boulder County, Boulder, Colorado.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Brissett of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; one sister, Joy Redeker of Austin, Texas; two granddaughters, Marissa June Brissett of Conyers, Georgia and Theresa Louise Brissett-Claxton of Torrance, California; three great-grandchildren, Kasim Andrews, Kemio Andrews, and Dominic Claxton; two niece, Kathy Redeker Golden and Sharon Kay Smith Schmitt; one nephew, Ben Ed Mullins; and one great-nephew, Breck Golden.
