Arthur B. Teague

Funeral service for Arthur B. Teague, age 74, of Frederick will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2017 at First Assembly of God Church in Frederick with Rev. Dan Coffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Teague passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at INTEGRIS Edmond Hospital.
Arthur B. Teague was born on August 26, 1942 to Manuel Henderson and Zonia (Eslick) Teague in Pineville, Missouri. He attended school in Anderson, Missouri and later transferred to Frederick Public Schools. On April 20, 1964, he was united in marriage to Carol Jean Kelley in Vernon, Texas. He was a carpenter and roofer for many years. He was also the caretaker of the Davidson Cemetery for several years. Arthur was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife, Carol of the home; two sons, Cary Teague and his wife Angela of Tipton and Michael Teague and his wife Jennifer of Frederick; two daughters, Carla Smith and her husband James of Tipton and Tina Pufall and her husband Greg of Lawton; one brother, Virgil Teague and his wife Donna Mae of Bixby, Oklahoma; three sisters, Irene Miller of Harrah, Oklahoma, Corrine Lauer and her husband Richard of Davidson, Oklahoma and Linda Blackford and her husband James of Frederick; thirteen grandchildren; one step-grandson; twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Junior and Charlie Teague; two sisters, Lorene Hine and Pauline Hine; two grandchildren and one brother-in-law, Melvin "Pumpkin" Miller.
