Graveside Service for Aurora Hinojosa Gomez, age 87, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at 2:30 p.m. at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery in Frederick. Inurnment will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. Gomez passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, in a Lawton hospital.

Private Family Rosary for Aurora Hinojosa Gomez, age 87, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be Saturday, May 2, 2020, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Gomez passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, in a Lawton hospital. The public is welcome to view Mrs. Gomez on Saturday, May 2, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Aurora Hinojosa Gomez was born on March 11, 1933, in Robstown, Texas to Gumecindo and Francisca (Martinez) Hinojosa. On September 26, 1951, she was united in marriage to Ascencion Ybarra Gomez. Mrs. Gomez worked in housekeeping at the Tillman County Memorial Hospital for many years. Mrs. Gomez was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Jesse Gomez and his wife Debi of Frederick, Oklahoma and Manuel Gomez and his wife Dora of Mansfield, Texas; one sister, Alicia Cantu of Grand Prairie, Texas; six grandchildren; Shawn Gomez and his wife Shelby, Shae Sellers and her husband Joshua, Greg Carter-Nowicki and his husband Joe, Brandy Roberts and her husband Joshua, Marie Nichol Gomez-Clark and her husband Dean Precourt and Tara Beth Gomez; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one grandson, Nicholas Gomez; one great-grandson, Nicholas Carter-Nowicki.
