Betty June (Allgood) was born on April 29, 1952, in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Chester Lee and Alice Faye (Brannum) Allgood.  She attended Chattanooga Public Schools, graduating from Chattanooga High School with the Class of 1970.  On February 7, 1975, she and Eddie Wayne Sheffield were united in marriage at the Full Gospel Church on First Street, in Frederick. Betty worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Tillman County Health Department for many years, retiring after 29 years of service.

Betty was always a ham; she loved dancing for the fun of it and was always the life of the party. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy!  If possible, she and Eddie were at their events, whether it was sports, or any activity they undertook. She enjoyed genealogy and spent countless hours mapping out her family tree; as well, she loved spending time antiquing with her family. Betty was quite the movie buff, whether it was going to the theater or watching a good movie at home. She and Eddie Wayne loved visiting Branson; but her most cherished memory was having the love of her life sing karaoke to her nightly. She was a faithful and loyal member of the Restoration Church in Frederick.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Eddie Wayne Sheffield of the home; two sons, Toby Wayne Sheffield and his wife Danielle of Tipton, Oklahoma, and Kris James Sheffield and his wife Shelby of Vernon, Texas; one daughter, April Jean Willman and her husband Titus of Frederick, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Kristan Janis and her husband Jordan, Makenzie Danovsky and her husband Logan, Jacob Willman, Dakota Sheffield, Kayli Willman, Taylor Willman, and Kaydence Sheffield; one great-granddaughter, Saylor Janis; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kathy Peters, Steve Sheffield, Marty Sheffield and his wife Geri, and Rhonda Aydelott and her husband Don ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Chester and Alice Allgood; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Imajean Sheffield; two brothers, DeWayne Brannum and Eugene Allgood; her sister-in-law. Linda Sheffield; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Dale Sheffield.
