Funeral Service for former Davidson resident, Betty Jean Willis, age 87, of Corn, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 West Gladstone Avenue, Frederick, with Rev. Les Banks officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mrs. Willis entered her Heavenly home on Saturday, January 12, 2025, at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, surrounded by loved ones.

Betty Jean Moore was born February 24, 1937, on the family farm near Pandora, Texas. She attended school in Nixon, Texas and later transferred to Premont High School, graduating with the Class of 1954.  Betty was united in marriage to Jack Day, and to this union was born four children: Deborah Sue, Carol Ann, Richard Ray, and Robert Roy. On July 4, 1970, she married H.E. "Cowboy" Willis in Wichita Falls, Texas. Betty worked as a Teller at the First State Bank in Davidson, Oklahoma for many years.  She later worked as Activity Director for Winlen Oaks Living Center in Frederick.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Davidson, Oklahoma.  Betty was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by four children, Debbie Dyck and her husband Kenneth of Corn, Oklahoma, Carol Garland of Wichita Falls, Texas, Rick Day and his wife Debbie of Friendly, West Virginia, and Robert Day and his wife Tammy of Elk City, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, Drew Hawkins, Tina Brown, William Hawkins, Kenda Cornett, Travis Dyck, Tyler Dyck, Derrik Hickerson, Shonda Hoff, Krystal Day, Morgan Williams, Payton Day, and Jaquoah Lemons; twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cowboy Willis on March 5, 2016; one grandson, Dusty Day; and one great-grandson, Randy Hawkins.
