Graveside service for Bobbie Jean Holman age 84 of Tipton, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the Tipton Cemetery with Rev. Les Banks officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mrs. Holman passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.

Bobbie Jean (Haney) Holman was born March 28, 1937, in Floyd County, Texas, near Floydada, to Ira Deen and Ola Lee (Slaton) Haney.  She attended school in Floydada.  On August 11, 1952, she and Arlie E. "Cowboy" Holman were united in marriage in Lubbock, Texas.  Bobbie worked for Sam's Grocery in Tipton for several years as the boys were growing up.  She was an avid seamstress and an outstanding cook.

She is survived by three sons, Mickey Holman and his wife Beverly, Victor Holman, and Rodney Holman all of Tipton, Oklahoma; two brothers-in-law, Roy Smith of Johnson City, Tennessee, and Bill Holman of Duncan, Oklahoma; two sisters-in-law, Nita Haney of Lubbock, Texas, and Lily Bowen of Mountain Park, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Ola Holman; her husband, Arlie "Cowboy" Holman who preceded her in death on June 4, 2005; one son, James Ricky Holman; 4 brothers, I.D. Haney, Jay Haney, Murl Haney, and Milton Haney; and three sisters, Margie Smith, Inez Johnson, and Tootsie Payne.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday evening, April 30, 2021, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
