Funeral service for Brad Ash age 34, of Cache, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 5, 2014, at the Cache School Auditorium. Burial will follow in the Cache Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Brads passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Bradley Thomas Mathias Ash was born December 18, 1979, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Brent Mathias and Lisa Danna (Gentry) Ash. He attended Cache Public School, graduating from Cache High School in 1998. On June 9, 2003, he and Julia Marie Jackson were united in marriage at Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. He later attended the Chickasaw Nation Firefighters School where he received his Forestry Firefighters Association Certificate in 2008. He enjoyed the outdoors. Brad loved riding horses, fishing and hunting. A true Cowboy! He was a loving father and husband. He was well known for his grilling, painting on cow skulls and playing the guitar. He was a proud member of the Chickasaw Nation and was a great-great-grandson of the original enrolling member Alberta "Berta" Carter. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Anadarko. He is survived by his wife, Julia Ash; a son, William Joseph Mathias Ash; a daughter, Abby Lyn Horton; his parents, Brent and Lisa Ash of Ada; a sister and brother-in-law, Leslie and Shaun Frase of Ada; his grandmother, Inola Ash of Cache; his mother-in-law, Judy Jackson of Fort Cobb; his grandmothers-in-law, Wilma Jackson, Tommie Totten and Agnes Hunt; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John II and Deyanira Jackson, Jennifer and Craig Ullery, Janice and Billy Dennis, Kathrine and James Querns and Nikita Jackson; nieces and nephews, Jaycee and Zaylee Santos, Claire and Laura Ullery, Alex, Joseph and Matthew Jackson, Thais Dennis and Roberto and Victor Plata; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale Mathias Ash and Wayne and Susie Young; and his father-in-law, John Jackson. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday evening from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Cache.
