Funeral service for Brenda Renee Calhoun, age 51, of Chattanooga, will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Chattanooga School Auditorium with Rev. Steve Sezate officiating.  Burial will follow in the Chattanooga Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Brenda Calhoun passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 in a Lawton hospital.

Brenda Renee Calhoun was born on June 8, 1964 in Frederick to Donald Lloyd and Gayle Maxine (Anderson) Calhoun.  She attended Chattanooga Public School and graduated in 1982.  She worked at Hop-n-Sack in Chattanooga for many years.

She is survived by her father, Donald Calhoun and his companion, Devy Jackson of the home; one sister, Gayla Calhoun of Garland, Texas; one half sister, Marsha Jackson of Chattanooga; one niece, Tisha Bryant of Garland; great niece & nephew, Jaylen and Jyda Bryant; a host of cousins, other family member and many friends.

She was preceded by her mother, Gayle Calhoun, grandparents, Clarence and Zula Calhoun and Bud and Bernice Anderson; and a niece, Tonya Speaks.
