Funeral service for Carl Peppers, age 90, of Frederick will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2015 at the First Baptist Missionary Church with Pastor Dyke Crain and Pastor Lloyd Logan officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Peppers passed away on November 8, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Frederick. Carl Peppers was born on February 15, 1925 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Will and Bonzelle (Thomas) Peppers. He attended Kennedy Elementary and Boyd High School in Frederick. While in high school, he played football. Carl had worked as a printer for Western Lithograph in Wichita, Kansas making Hallmark Cards. After retiring in 1987, he returned to Frederick and worked for Chickasha Cotton Compress for several years. In 1988, he was married to Gerletha (Johnson) Perry in Frederick. He loved working in the years, tinkering and fixing things. He was a member of the First Baptist Missionary Church in Frederick. He is survived by his wife Gerletha of the home; sons, Richard Wicks of Wichita, Kansas, Stacy Peppers and wife Cassondra of California, Floyd Perry of Frederick, Toby Perry and wife Ruth of Frederick, Gary Perry and wife Linda of Lawton and Randy Perry and wife Gwen of Houston, Texas; daughters, Peggy Burns and husband Edward, Phyllis Castile and husband Benny and Karlyn Kay Carlis and husband Harry all of Wichita, Kansas, Gwen Jackson and husband Robert and Jackie Ray and husband Tommy all of Altus, and Regina Cooper of Frederick; one niece Dorothy Jean Johnson of Wichita Falls, Texas; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren that loved him very much and called him "Papa". He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; one sister, Dorothy Johnson; one son, Roy Dean Wicks; and a nephew, Carl Lee. Jackson Funeral Home 923 W.
