Funeral service for Carol L. Lewis age 74, of rural Grandfield, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2019, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Grandfield with Brother Harlon Woodall officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandfield Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. Lewis passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at a Lawton hospital.

Carol Louise (Wilson) Lewis was born January 20, 1945, in Oakland, California. She graduated from Rocky High School in 1963. On November 10, 1966, she and William Lavon Lewis were united in marriage in Cache, Oklahoma. She was employed by Schlegel Automotive in Frederick for over 19 years. Carol was a outstanding seamstress and an wonderful cook. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Grandfield.

She is survived by her husband, Lavon Lewis of the home; one son, William Carroll "Bill" Lewis of Grandfield, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Quentin Lewis, Harmony Lewis and Colton Lewis all of Grandfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Jane Wilson of Forsyth, Illinois; two aunts, Myrtle Colinger of Hydro, Oklahoma and Linda Glasgow of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and other family members and many friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Atha Wilson; one son, Ernest Kristopher Lewis; and one sister, Leta Case.

Carol may be viewed on Thursday, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Frederick. At the service on Friday, the casket will remain closed.
