Memorial Graveside Service for Carolyn Ann "Carol" Kilburn, will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery, with Judy Benson, leading the service. Mrs. Kilburn passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma
Carolyn Ann (Griffin) Kilburn was born January 30, 1944, in Smiley, Texas to James Lloyd and Rosabel (Lee) Griffin. She attended Smiley Public School and later received a degree in Respiratory Therapy from St. Phillips College in San Antonio, Texas.
While in Saudi Arabia, Tom met Carol at a Bible Study, who was also in Sudi Arabia on a contract in the medical field. Upon returning to the United States, she and Tom were married on June 7, 2000, in Clark County, Nevada. Carol studied the Bible and loved the Lord with all her heart.
She is survived by two sons, Dwayne Miller of Apache Junction, Arizona, and David Castanda and his wife Marnie of Rockwall, Texas; one daughter, Deborah Salinas of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Steve Griffin and his wife Mary Jo; two sisters, Sherry Plunkett and her husband Bruce, and Bonnie Sellers; four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Tom Kilburn who preceded her in death on April 22, 2020.
