Funeral service for Carrie Woodward, age 62, of Indiahoma, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Indiahoma High School Auditorium in Indiahoma, Oklahoma with Rev. Les Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick, Oklahoma. Mrs. Woodward passed away on Tuesday morning, April 25, 2017, at her home in Indiahoma.

Carrie Kimbrough Woodward was born on March 3, 1955 in Friona, Texas to Bob and Lillian Doris Phillips Kimbrough. She attended school in both Snyder and Mountain Park before moving with her family to Indiahoma. She graduated from Indiahoma High School in 1973. She was united in marriage to Johnny Hugh Woodward on July 18, 1975 in Vernon, Texas. She was a homemaker and loved to embroidery and paint. One of her biggest joys in her life was being "Nanny" to her grandbabies.

She is survived by her husband Hugh Woodward of the home; her mother, Lillian Kimbrough of Snyder, Oklahoma; two sons, Jason Woodward and his wife Jennifer of Lubbock, Texas and Jeremy Woodward and his wife Courtney of Seymour, Texas; one daughter, Brandi Fischer of Lawton, Oklahoma; two brothers, Mike Kimbrough of Mountain Park, Oklahoma and Kelly Kimbrough and his wife Melissa of Snyder, Oklahoma; one sister, Pam Deaton of Indiahoma, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Dalton McKinney and his wife Hannah, Whitney Morris and her husband John, Jacob Woodward, Jack Woodward, Cameron Woodward, Collyn Woodward, Carsen Woodward, and Nathan Cochrane; four great grandchildren, Paislee McKinney, Logan McKinney, Tucker McKinney, and Bentley Jo Cochrane; one sister-in-law, Twyla Woodward and a special friend Maha Sultan and her son, Awuley.

She was preceded in death by her father; and one sister, LaDonna Anderson.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Leah M. Fitch Cancer Center in memory of Carrie Woodward.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick.
