Charles Eugene Harnden, age 69, of Tipton, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021, at his home in Tipton.  No service will be held at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick, Oklahoma.

Charles Eugene Harnden was born on August 10, 1951, to George Wilson and Ruby Belle (Jordan) Harnden in Vernon, Texas.  He attended Davidson Public Schools and graduated from Davidson High School in 1969.  He later attended Southwestern State University in Weatherford.  On September 21, 1973, he was united in marriage to Helen Louise Dempsey.  He was employed at Aviall in Frederick prior to owning and operating the Tiger Den restaurant in Tipton for many years.  Charles loved his family and enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.  He was an avid Texas Ranger and Dallas Cowboy fan. He was a faithful WBAP radio listener and was often caught watching western movies.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Harnden of the home; two sons, Mickey Charles Harnden of Tipton, Oklahoma and Kelly Don Harnden and his wife Tina of Tipton Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Christian Harnden and his wife Shelby of Snyder, Oklahoma, Rachel Harnden and Payton Harnden both of Tipton, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Belle Harnden; two brothers and one sister who died in infancy; and a sister and brother-in-law, Ava Jean and David Sisson.
