Funeral Service for Crystal Mozelle Fischer, age 88, of Indiahoma, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick, Oklahoma, with Rev. Jim Bob Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow in the Chattanooga Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home.  Mrs. Fischer passed away at McMahon Tomlinson Nursing Center in Lawton, Oklahoma, Friday morning, December 1, 2023.

Crystal Mozelle (Cooper) Fischer was born on December 6, 1934, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Elmer Lee and Ruby (Petty) Cooper.  She graduated from Indiahoma High School with the Class of 1952.  She was united in marriage to Herman Benjamin Fischer on August 9, 1952, in Indiahoma, Oklahoma.  Herman preceded her in death on November 12, 1995.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, always looking out and caring for her family. Mozelle cared for her son, Marlan, who had cerebral palsy, by herself for over forty years.  She also loved spoiling her sons and grandkids and made each of them feel special in her own way.  She was a member of the Lighthouse Church of God in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Mozelle is survived by her sons, Vernon Fischer and Randy "Pete" Fischer and his wife Joyce both of Mountain View, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Judy Fischer of Chattanooga, Oklahoma; two sisters-in-law, Mary Fischer of Indiahoma, Oklahoma, and Marlene Cooper of Piedmont, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Brandi Hargrove and her husband Jimmy of Lawton, Oklahoma, Cheyenne Clark of Frederick, Oklahoma, C.A. Nix and his wife Tammy of Lawton, Oklahoma, Levi Fischer and his wife Stormy of Mountain View, Oklahoma, Cassie Malone and her husband Trevor of Hickory Ridge, Arkansas, Heather Tran and her husband Tuan of Coppell, Texas, Canyon Fischer of Mountain View, Oklahoma, Chelsea Fischer of Sevierville, Tennessee, and Cody Fischer of Covington, Texas; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, E.L. "Babe" and Ruby; her husband, Herman; two sons, Alvin "Stymie" Fischer and Marlan Fischer; and one brother, Bennie Cooper.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation in loving memory of Crystal Mozelle Fischer.
