Word has been received of the death of Danny Lee Coffey, age 54, of Manitou.  Mr. Coffey passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at his home in Manitou. No service will be held at this time.

Danny Lee Coffey was born on January 1, 1962 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Lawrence Richard and Mary Lee (Beck) Coffey.  He attended Lincoln Public Schools and Lincoln Northeast High School.  He was a self employed truck driver for many years.

He is survived by one son, Richard Franklin Coffey of Manitou; one daughter, Dawn Marie Grisso and her husband Daniel of Manitou; one brother, Daryl Coffey and his wife Connie of Wilbur, Nebraska; one sister, Connie Rivett and her husband Kevin of Hickman, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
