Danny Ray Nunley, age 78, of Tipton, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday morning, March 16, 2024, at his home in Tipton.  No services are planned at this time.

Danny Ray Nunley was born July 18, 1945, to Claude B. and Ethel Lorene (O'Donnell) Nunley in Santa Barbara, California.  He attended Tipton Public School.  In 1968, he entered the United States Army, valiantly serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1970.  After his stint in the military, he worked in the oil field as a water plant operator for Chevron Texaco for many years.

On March 29, 2005, Danny was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Sharon Swann, at Bullhead City, Arizona.  And their adventures began!  They both enjoyed traveling, RVing, and fishing.  Danny was a jokester and lived his life to the fullest.  Danny and Sharon had recently returned to settle in Tipton.  He thoroughly enjoyed being back home in the Tipton community.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Nunley of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Ethel Nunley; and one sister, Dona Faye Bolt.
