Private Family Graveside for David Eugene Nation age 69, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be held at a later date.  Inurnment will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home.  Mr. Nation passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020, at his home in Frederick.

David Eugene Nation was born March 15, 1951, in Altus, Oklahoma to Doyle Eugene and Marilyn Marie (Azlin) Nation.  He attended Frederick Public Schools, graduating from Frederick High School in 1969.  On September 7, 1983, he and Kathleen L. Burba were united in marriage in Vernon, Texas.  David worked for the Katy and Alma Railroad as a railway maintenance worker; and later worked for Ed Matthews as a roofer.  He and his father worked for many years as an independent mail contractor for the United States Postal Service.  David's motorcycle was his pride and joy!  He loved being able to do fundraisers for children.  He was a member of BACA – "Bikers Against Child Abuse" and ABATE – "A Brotherhood Aimed Towards Education".

He is survived by his wife, Katt Nation of the home; his children, Sean Nation of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Neal Nation of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Machell "Shelly" Nation and her husband Charles Cochrane of Frederick, Oklahoma, David Nation and his wife Cleo of Frederick, Oklahoma and Jasper Nation of Frederick, Oklahoma;  two brothers, Gary Nation and his wife Connie of Frederick, Oklahoma and Jeff Nation of Frederick, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Levi, Lora Lei, Omni, Gus, Freedom, Lance, David Jr. and Oscar; and three great-grandchildren, C.J., Bella and Juliett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Marilyn Nation; and two granddaughters, Angel Blackburn and Alexis Nation.
