Memorial service for David Mark Smith age 59, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick. Mr. Smith passed away Friday, April 5, 2019, at his home.

David Mark Smith was born July 23, 1959, in Talhina, Oklahoma to Eugene Edison and Marlene (McKinney) Smith. He attended Snyder Public Schools. On January 20, 1979, he and Debra Lou Ward were united in marriage in Snyder, Oklahoma. David worked in the oil field as a derrick hand for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Smith of the home; one son, Bryan Smith and his wife Morgan of Altus, OK; one daughter, Krystal Smith and her husband Starling Jackson of Frederick, OK; five brothers, Timothy Smith and his wife Oreda of Tipton, OK, Flix Smith and his wife Pat of Mountain Park, OK, Anthony Smith of Cooperton, OK, Matthew Smith and his wife Terry of Danbury, TX, and Tom Casey of Cooperton, OK; three sisters, Wyonzia Wookey of Frederick, OK, Noel Head of Waynoka, OK and Tatum Smith of Waynoka, OK; nine grandchildren, Cheyenne Smith, Trevor Hyde, Avrion Jackson, Daryress Jackson, Jordyn Smith, Tanner Smith, Kalysia Jackson, Hunter Smith and Phillip Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Jackie Smith; his father-in-law, William Ward and one son, Mark Smith.
