Word has been received of the death of Delia Angelica Rodriguez, age 77, of Frederick, Oklahoma.  Ms. Rodriguez was a resident of Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder and passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma.  Burial will be at a later date in Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Delia Angelica Rodriguez was born on June 8, 1943, to Calixto and Jacinta (Cantu) Elizondo in Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico.  In 1959, she and Jose Antonio Serna were united in marriage in Mexico.  He preceded her in death on January 19, 2008.

She is survived by one daughter, Norma Serna of Frederick, Oklahoma; one son, Juan Antonio Serna of Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico; two brothers, Calixto Elizondo, Jr. of Kansas City, Kansas and Ramiro Elizondo of McAllen, Texas; two sisters, Yolanda DeLeon of Edinburg, Texas and Rosalinda Elizondo of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jose Antonio Serna; and one daughter, Irma Letitaca Sanchez.
