Memorial service for Delroy Dean, age 76, of rural Davidson, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks officiating. Mr. Dean passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Frederick Nursing Center.

Delroy Dean was born on August 22, 1941, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Richard Morris and Vivian Jurhee (Phelps) Dean.   He attended Manitou Public School and graduated from Manitou High School. He then attended Wentworth Military Academy. Delroy spent most his life as a custom harvester. He also farmed for many years. He and Bonnie L. O'Brien met and lived as companions for over 26 years.

He is survived by his companion, Bonnie of the home; one son, Chat Dean of New York; one daughter, Jeannie Lee of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma; two brothers, Ricky Dean and his wife JoAnn and Larry Dean; grandchildren; Camber and Justin, Brice, Chance, Colton, Caden, Haley and Andrew, Kaden, Ryan, Courtney and Trent; great-grandchildren, Madilynn and Keller; and his buddy, Oscar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents; and sister, Victoria Dean.
