Word has been received of the death of Dollie Etta Owens age 74, of Davidson, Oklahoma. Mrs. Owens passed away Friday evening, September 20, 2019, at her home south of Davidson. A private family burial will be in the Davidson Cemetery.

Dollie Etta (Vaughan) Owens was born June 16, 1945, in Dodd City, Texas, to Orville Eugene and Ruby Mae (Coburn) Vaughan. She attended school Chillicothe, Texas. On July 9, 1983, she and William Arthur "Bill" Owens were united in marriage in Tipton, Oklahoma. Dollie worked for many years as a cashier for Perry's Variety Store, Allsup's, The Corner Store and Pinkies in Frederick. She later worked for Walmart in Vernon, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Owens of the home; five sons, Drew McWilliams and his wife Karla of Indiahoma, Oklahoma, Dale McWilliams of Texas, Dean McWilliams of Tyler, Texas, Marshall Owens and his wife Emma of Davidson, Oklahoma and Billy Ray Owens of Davidson, Oklahoma; one sister, Mary Bodine and her husband Jerry of McKinney, Texas; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Dollie Rogers; two sons, Jammy Owens and Russell Wayne McWilliams who died in infancy; and one great-grandson, Beau George.
