Word has been received of the death of former Davidson resident, Dollie Etta Rogers, age 48, of Clayton, Oklahoma.  No  service will be held at this time.  Mrs. Rogers passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Dollie Etta Rogers was born on September 9, 1967 in Shelby, Washington to Melton Drew and Dollie Etta (Vaughan) McWilliams.  She attended School in Chillicothe, Vernon, Altus and Davidson, graduating from Davidson High School in 1986.  She had attended nursing school and received her LPN degree and worked at Pioneer Manor in Frederick and later in Vernon.  She was united in marriage to Dennis Wayne Rogers on February 2, 1995 in Vernon, Texas.

She is survived by her husband Dennis of the home; her parents, Dollie & Bill Owens of Davidson; one daughter, Emma Rogers of Tahlequah;  four brothers, Drew McWilliams of Indiahoma, Marshal McWilliams of Kennedy, Texas, Dean McWilliams , Jammy Owens and Marshall Owens all of Davidson, and Billy Owens of Altus.

She was preceded in death by her father, Melton McWilliams and infant brother, Russell McWilliams.
