Funeral service for Charlene (Dill) Holland age 80, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2020, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Brandon Beaver officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. Holland passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020, at the Advanced Rehab & Healthcare Center in Vernon, Texas.
Doris Charlene (Dill) Holland was born November 6, 1939, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Charles Clinton and Nancy Lou (Marshall) Dill. She attended Frederick Public School, graduating from Frederick High School. On September 5, 1958, she and Marvin Ray "Buddy" Holland were united in marriage in Frederick, Oklahoma. Mr. Holland preceded her in death on March 31, 2020. Charlene loved to cook for family and friends; her family was her life. She enjoyed reading her Bible. Charlene loved crocheting and making afghans for her family, prior to her deteriorating health. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Snyder, Oklahoma.
She is survived by one daughter, Serena Beaver and her husband Damon of Scottville, Michigan; two brothers, Charles Clinton Dill, Jr. of Frederick, Oklahoma and Rodney Dill and his wife Reta of Frederick, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, Pat Dill of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren, Clinton Peyton, Brandon Beaver and his wife Janelle, Bryson Beaver and his wife Kristin, and Brady Beaver and his wife Kayla; three great-grandchildren, Margo Beaver, Marcy Beaver and Meara Beaver; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Nancy Dill; one daughter, Brenna Kaye Peyton; one son, Marvin Ray "Vin" Holland; her husband, Marvin "Buddy" Holland; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Billy and Marie Dill, Bobby Dill, Doug Dill, and Marion Dill.
