View Funeral Webcast

Celebration of Life for Eddy Lee Akers age 32, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, with service under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mr. Akers passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at his home.

Eddy Lee Akers was born August 12, 1990, in Temple, Texas to Effie (Henry) White Akers and Green Akers, III.  He attended Frederick Public Schools, later transferring to Tipton High School where he graduated with the Class of 2009.

Eddy worked for Alco in Frederick for several years and later the Hop & Sack in Tipton, Oklahoma.  He was employed by the local dairy for a period of time.  His true passion was the landscaping business.  Eddy enjoyed his dogs, and his family was his pride and joy.

He is survived by his mother, Effie White Akers of Frederick, OK, and his father, Green Akers, III of Waco, TX; two brothers, Michael White of Waco, TX, and Green Akers, IV of Vernon, TX; three sisters, Meshell Logan and husband Darrell of Hewitt, TX, Jamaila Cooper and husband Tyler of Altus, OK, and Alexandria Akers of Waco, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
