Graveside service for Edwin Earl "Eddie" Drummond, Jr., age 71, of Cache, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Cache Cemetery with Rev. Robert Rose officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mr. Drummond passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Monte Vista Rehab Center in Lawton.

Edwin Earl Drummond, Jr. was born on May 4, 1952, to Edwin Earl & Treva June (Ulrich) Drummond in Lawton, Oklahoma. He attended Cache Public School and graduated from Cache High School with the class of 1970.  He then attended Cameron University in Lawton before transferring to Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  He retired from Lawrence Tank Welding in 2018.  Having grown up in the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge, he loved it there.  He enjoyed the outdoors and being on his farm.  He was an avid OSU sports fan.  Eddie was a very generous and loving person.  He loved his family and truly took great care of his parents in their later years.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cache, where he had participated in the Methodist Men while his health permitted.

He is survived by one sister, Vickie Drummond of Durant, Oklahoma: one nephew, Jeremy White and his wife Yana of McKinney, Texas, and a host of cousins, other family members and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Treva Drummond.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Cache in memory of Eddie Drummond.
