Funeral service for Ella Faye Underwood, age 82, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Underwood passed away on Sunday evening, September 24, 2017, in Snyder, Oklahoma.

Ella Faye (Stuard) Underwood was born on May 21, 1935, in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Floyd Elvis and Reba Jane (Rose) Stuard. She attended Elmore City Public Schools. On February 28, 1971, she and Larry Dean "Boots" Underwood were united in marriage in Eastland, Texas. Mr. Underwood preceded her in death on February 21, 1999. She worked for Greenfield and Coy's Grocery, Ford and Irwin Automotive, and Jackson Funeral Home for many years. She was one that took her responsibilities  seriously and was dedicated to everything she did. She was a fun loving enthusiastic person who loved a good joke and had a zest for life. She was a member of the Tesca Baptist Church.

She is survived by her four children Jane Gallagher of Frederick, Oklahoma, Larry Michael Bolles and his wife Rosalie of Duncan, Oklahoma, Rickey Bolles of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Kim Moore of Hobart, Oklahoma; four step children Cork Underwood and his wife Lou of Comanche, Texas, Labin Underwood and his wife Brenda Kay of Alaska, Pam Hill of Marble Falls, Texas and Aletha Patterson of Sidney, Texas; one brother, F.E. Stuard and his wife Mary of Noble, Oklahoma; one sister, Elvora Easley and her husband Bill of Dill City, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Kevin Gallagher, Shawna Brown and her husband Pete, Eric Bolles and his wife Tamar, Brock Bolles and his wife Theresa, Ashley Bolles, Andrea Bolles, Nicholas Burleson and Max Turner; nine step-grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Stuard and Reba Jane Stuard Patterson; her husband, Larry "Boots" Underwood; two grandsons, Zackary Gallagher and Jacob Burleson; three sisters, Mary Evelyn Stuard, Dhomatha Downs, and Deiva Burket.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tesca Baptist Church in memory of Ella Faye Underwood.

The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, from 5 – 7 p.m., at the funeral home in Frederick.
