Memorial service for Floye Emma Kimmel age 92, of Tipton, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2017, at the Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick, Oklahoma with Erin Martinez, chaplain of Jackson County Memorial Hospital Hospice. Inurnment will follow in the Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Kimmel passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at her home.

Floye Emma (Lovejoy) Kimmel was born January 12, 1925, in Tipton, Oklahoma to William Mitchell and Ethel A. (Conrad) Lovejoy. She attended Tipton Public School, graduated from Tipton High School as salutatorian with the Class of 1942. She and William Kenneth Kimmel were united in marriage in Tipton, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1988. Floye worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Tipton Farmers Co-op, retiring in 1993. She was a lifelong member of the Tipton First United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.

She is survived by one son, Charlie Kimmel od Tipton, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Justin Dysart, Casey Middleton, Tyler Dysart, Lindsey Dysart and Tasha Randall; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Karen Dysart; one granddaughter, Jennifer Dysart; and five brothers, Merl, Glen, Loyd, Roy and Ray Lovejoy
