Private Family Funeral Service for Francisco "Frank" Olvera age 89, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick.  Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home.  Mr. Olvera passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020, in a Lawton hospital.

Francisco Olvera was born June 5, 1930, in San Jose Iturbide, Guanajuato, Mexico.  In 1951, he and Maria Trejo Zuniga were united in marriage in Mexico.  She preceded him in death in 1953.  After moving to Frederick, Frank was employed by Century Granite Company as a granite polisher for over 18 years.  On May 24, 1969, he and Enedina Ramirez were married in Frederick, Oklahoma.  He worked as custodian at the Frederick Middle School and later the Frederick High School, where he retired.  Mrs. Olvera preceded him in death on October 13, 2008.  Frank was a faithful and loyal member of the Primera Iglesia Bautusta Baptist Church.  He was a gentle man whose life revolved around, attending church and reading his Bible!

He is survived by two sons, Ruben Olvera and his wife Marina of Frederick, Oklahoma and Heriberto Olvera and his wife Tracy of Middleville, Michigan; one daughter, Maria Nunez and her husband Seferino of Mexico; two brothers, Sacramento Hernandez of Mexico and Miguel Robles of Mexico; one sister, Natalia Robles of Mexico; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, other family members and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gonzalo Olvera; his mother, Maria De La Luz Robles; his wives, Maria (Zuniga) Olvera and Enedina (Ramirez) Olvera; one son, Francisco Olvera, Jr.; and one grandson, Ruben Olvera, Jr.

Due to COVID-19, no more than 10 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time.  Mr. Olvera may be viewed on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
