Frankie Lou Ward, age 82, of Frederick, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick, Oklahoma.

Frankie Lou Ward was born December 9, 1940, Caddo, Oklahoma, to Frank James and Jessie Irene (Richardson) Harris.  She was raised in Manitou, Oklahoma and attended school there graduating with the Class of 1961.  Frankie worked at Kellwood and Bag Scene. She was also an Avon Representative for several years. Frankie cherished her job as a housewife the most. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Manitou, Oklahoma.

She is survived by two sons, William Sam Ward, Jr. of Borger, Texas and Michael Ward of Borger, Texas; two daughters, Debra Smith of Frederick, Oklahoma and Michelle Ward of Frederick, Oklahoma; sister, Jacque Nadine Powell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Donna Harris of Kansas; twelve great-grandchildren, Nathan Deaton and wife Laura, Bryan Smith and wife Morgan, Krystal Smith and husband Redd, Jessica Ward, William Sam Ward III and wife Alicia, Vannessa Matney and husband Sam, Bridget Ward, Brent Ward, Jakob Ward and Brittany Cummings, Tyler Ward and wife Angelica, Kenneth Wolfe and Rebeca Diaz and Jasper Nation; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jessie Harris; her husband, William Sam Ward; son, James Calvin Deaton; grandson, Mark Smith; and two brothers, Kenneth Harris and Porter Harris.
