Funeral service for former Tipton resident, Gail Lasheil Pride, age 68, will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Tipton, Oklahoma, with Pastor Reggie Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Snyder, Oklahoma, under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. Pride passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at her home in Altus, Oklahoma.

Gail Lasheil Pride was born on July 19, 1954, in Altus, Oklahoma to Dan and Gladys Marie (Allen) Pride.  She enjoyed visiting church and the fellowship with everyone. Gail loved going to McDonald's for a Happy Meal. Her favorite pastime was coloring beautiful pictures.

Ms. Pride is survived by two sisters, Bernice Brown and JoAnne Pride; and a host of nieces and nephews including, Danna Pride, Shadia Pride, David Brown, Virginia Brown, Anthony Brown, and Tammy Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Gladys Pride; and three sisters, Beatrice Taylor, Florence Copeland, and Katherine Wells.
