Funeral service for former Frederick resident, Geraldine "Deanie" Dickey age 76, of Tuscon, Arizona will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 24, 2015, at the First Baptist Missionary Church with Pastor Dyke Crane, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Ms. Dickey passed away October 12, 2015, in Tuscon. Geraldine (Johnson) Dickey was born October 21, 1938, in Davidson, Oklahoma to William "Casey" and Evelyn "Bittie" (James) Johnson. She attended Boyd High School and was Valedictorian of her senior class. On June 26, 1955, she and Malcom Dickey were united in marriage. To this union were born four daughters. She worked as a cook and seamstress in Yuma, Arizona for many years and later as a clerk for the United States Postal Service. She is survived by four daughters, Rhonda James, Sharon Alexander, Wynona Perry and Roxanna Milner; one sister, Gerletha Peppers; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
