Funeral service for Geraldine Shelton, age 92, Manitou, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Jackson Funeral Home, Frederick, Oklahoma, with Perry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, Oklahoma under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Shelton passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at McMahon Tomlinson Nursing Center, Lawton, Oklahoma. Mrs. Shelton was born August 6, 1922 in Davidson Oklahoma to Wesley Willimon and Alice (Wright) Willimon. She attended Davidson Public School. She married Ernest V. Shelton on June 15, 1937 in Davidson Oklahoma. She was a member of Otter Creek Baptist Church. She was a quilter and loved to sew. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jerald Shelton and his wife Libba of Seneca, South Carolina, and Vernon Shelton of Tipton Oklahoma; one daughter and son-in-law, Coleen Shaver and husband Mark of Manitou, Oklahoma; one brother and sister-in-law, John Ed Willimon and his wife Kirie of Durant Oklahoma; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice Faye Riley and husband James Ray of Durant Oklahoma; Shirley Ledbetter and husband Jimmy of Houston, Texas, Dianna Buck and husband Denver of Bella Vista, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; Andrea Reece and husband Tony of Houston, Texas; Kelly Bartholic of Houston, Texas; Paige Raymond and husband Mike of Sacramento, California, Leigh Murphy and husband Scott of Magnolia, Texas, Sheri Shelton of Stockton California, Vern Shelton Jr. of Stockton California, Selene Shelton of Stockton, California, Ashley Ervin and husband Denton of Mountain Park, Oklahoma, Kasey Shaver of Weatherford, Oklahoma; twenty one great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Ernest Virgil Shelton Jr.; three brothers J.R. Willimon, Kenneth Willimon, Don Willimon; two sisters, Wilma Hefner, Sarah Ann Brenton; one grandson; Wesley Shelton. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Ross Health Hospice at 328 South 29th Street in Chickasha, Oklahoma 73018.
