Private graveside service for Gertavius Denard Robins age 22, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2020, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Gertavius passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020, at his home in Frederick.

Gertavius Denard Robins was born July 15, 1997, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Gerald "Gee" Robins and Derica LaDean Perry. He attended school in Denison, Texas, and later transferring to Frederick High School. He had previously worked at the Pizza Hut in Frederick, and later Dollar General Discount Store. Gertavius enjoyed boxing and skateboarding; and was a talented pencil artist.

He is survived by his mother, Derica Perry of Frederick, Oklahoma; his grandmother, Minnie Hillmon of Frederick, Oklahoma; his grandfather, Gary Perry, Sr. of Lawton, Oklahoma; his great-grandmother, Gerletha Peppers of Frederick, Oklahoma;  three brothers,  Kedrian Perry and his wife Alexis of Abilene, Texas, Traveion Perry of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Jeremiah Adams of Frederick, Oklahoma; two sisters, Aaliyah Perry of Frederick, Oklahoma and Brandie Robins of Los Angeles, California; four aunts, Deidra Perry of Frederick, Oklahoma. Tracy Perry of Lawton, Oklahoma, Debra Robins of Los Angeles, California, and Edna Chaney-McDonald of Lawton, Oklahoma; six uncles, Norman Mayfield of Frederick, Oklahoma, Greg Curry of Los Angeles, California, Gary Perry, Jr. of Lawton, Oklahoma, Chance Perry of Lawton, Oklahoma, Marcus Perry of Wichita Falls, Texas, Billy Chaney of Los Angeles, California; and a host of cousins, other family members and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Robins; his grandparents, Oscar Robins and Earnestine "Lucy" Robins, one aunt, Gloria Jean Wright; and one uncle, Bobby Chaney.

Due to COVID-19, no more than 10 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time. Viewing for friends and family will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2020, at the funeral home.
