Graveside service for Gladys Lee Oxford age 94, of Frederick was at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 8, 2015, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Oxford passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the Memorial Nursing Center in Frederick. Gladys Lee Rollins Oxford was born June 17, 1920, in Mount Vernon, Texas to Harvey and Sally Kate (Younce) Rollins. She attended Tipton Public School, graduating from Tipton High School in 1938. On April 21, 1946, she and Lloyd L. Oxford were united in marriage at Vernon, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2002. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was survived by one son Mark Oxford of Frederick. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Jean Duggins and Jo Eoff; and one brother, Sevolla Rollins.
