Memorial service for Glenn Loyd Jones age 71, of Tipton, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick.  Mr. Jones passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at his home in Tipton.

Glenn Loyd Jones was born October 8, 1945, in Tipton, Oklahoma to Haskell Lee and Edith (Dolen) Jones.  He attended Tipton Public Schools.  Glenn was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam Conflict. He worked as a commercial truck drive for many years.

He is survived by one son Parker Jones and his wife Alicia of Wayne, Oklahoma; two daughters, Angela Zender and her husband Kevin of Granite, Oklahoma and Wizy Availa and her husband Richard of Altus, Oklahoma; one sister, Bobbie Pomarnky of Sanford, Michigan; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers and sisters, Melvin Lee, Wanda Joy, Vernon Haskell, Edward Isaac, Everett Erward, Virginia Fay and Delbert Winston.
