Harold Dale French

Funeral service for former Davidson resident, Harold Dale French, age 80, of Frederick, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Family Worship Center in Davidson with Rev. Johnny Jack officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mr. French passed away on Tuesday evening, April 19, 2016 at his home in Frederick.

Harold Dale French was born on April 27, 1935 in Bidwell, Ohio to Guy and Selia Bell (Reece) French.  He attended school in Bidwell.  In 1965, he was united in marriage to Opal Florine Jack in Vancouver, Washington.  Harold served as a traveling minister, holding revivals over the United States.  Dale and Opal moved to Davidson in 1990 and was presently Pastor of Family Worship Center in Davidson.

He is survived by his wife, Opal French of the home; four sons, Johnny French of Seattle, Washington, Joe French and his wife Candy of Tulsa, Carl Rushin of Frederick and John Brooks and his wife Bethany of Lawton; four daughters, Lisa Pettis and her husband Enos of Davidson, Judi Villanueva and her husband Larry of Davidson, Sharon Rushin of Frederick and Brenda Tyner and her husband Tony of Geronimo; three brothers, Ray French and his wife Charlene of Zanesville, Ohio, Earl French and his wife Michelle of Vancouver, Washington and Jimmy French and his wife Judy of Gainesville, Ohio; four sisters, Mary Clark of Zanesville, Ohio, Fern French of Phoenix, Arizona, Alma French of Akron, Ohio and Emma French of Seattle, Washington; twenty one grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
