Funeral service for Helen M. Barnard, age 66, of Frederick will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Ms. Barnard passed away on Sunday September 11, 2016 in a Lawton hospital.

Helen Murlene Kouri Barnard was born on July 23, 1950 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Woodrow David and Anna Lou (Hudspeth) Kouri. She attended Frederick Public Schools. She had worked as an automotive seal trimmer for 32 years most recently for Henniges. She loved spending time with her sister and grandchildren. Helen enjoyed going to the casino.

She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Feemster of Wylie, Texas; a son, David McIninch; a sister, Sheryl Tomlinson and her husband Harold of Frederick; four grandchildren, Alisa McIninch, Justin Feemster, Aiden McIninch and Landon McIninch; a niece, Connie Flores and her husband Zeke; and a cousin Namon Kouri and his wife Connie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a niece, Angie Crosswhite.
