Funeral service for Helen Ruth Feind, age 89, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Jackson Funeral Home with Dr. Roy Jaye and Rev. Les Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home with Rev. Roland Behnke officiating. Mrs. Feind passed away on May 25, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Nursing Center in Frederick.
Helen Ruth Lassetter Feind was born on September 29, 1928 in McLennan County, Texas to James Hill and Ethel Elizabeth (Brink) Lassetter. She graduated from high school near in Midway, Texas in 1948. She was united in marriage to Ruben Rudolf Feind on July 25, 1953 in Weatherford, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 7, 1998. Helen worked for Southwestern Bell in Waco. After she had her family, she devoted her life to raising her children and being a pastor's wife. She was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church. She had a heart for teaching the Bible and put it to use teaching Sunday school.
She is survived by one son, Stephen Feind and his wife Georgianna of Granbury, Texas; three daughters, Velda Potter Little and her husband Mike of North Richland Hills, Texas, Brenda Jaye and her husband Roy of Hutchinson, Kansas and Sandi Martin and her husband Marty of Frederick, Oklahoma, one sister, Valerie Wilson of Frederick, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Carol Lassetter of Duncanville, Texas; brother-in-law Roland Behnke of Frederick, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Dax Potter, Josh Pope, Brady Potter, Nicholas Martin, Jace Jaye, Morgan Harriman and husband Matt, Aaron Feind, Page Carrillo and her husband Jose and Paisley Jaye; great-grandchildren, Gab Potter, Maylie Harriman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and six siblings, Coreen Young. G.B. Lassetter, Jimmy Lassetter, Elizabeth Tuggle, Wanda Behnke and Garner Lassetter.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Mission Dignity, P. O. Box 2190, Dallas, Texas 75221-9954 in memory of Helen Feind.
