Graveside services for Jack Albert Peters, age 92, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Les Banks officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Peters passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 in an Albuquerque Care Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jack Albert Peters was born on February 1, 1925 to Walter Allie and Alta Oma (McKinney) Peters. He attended school at Wilson Consolidated #2 graduating in 1943. Jack had served in the United States Army. On April 8, 1945, he was united in marriage to Jarvis Jean Bolin. She preceded him in death on December 17, 2005. He was a lifelong farmer in Tillman County.

He is survived by one daughter, Sue Cotten; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Peters of Norman; one sister, Jean Moss and her husband Bob of Carlsbad, New Mexico; one sister-in-law, DeLynn Peters; one brother-in-law, Hubert Harp; three grandchildren, Aric Peters & his wife Polly, Ian Smith and Shannon Smith; five great-grandchildren, Grant and Luke Peters, Andy Smith, Zoe and Kaia Sizemore; and several nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

He was preceded in death his parents; his wife; one son, Joe Dan Peters; two brothers, Walter A. "Pap" Peters, Jr. and Frank Peters; and two sisters, Loys Ray & Doris Harp.
