Obituary

Celebration of life for Jaelyn Golden age 19, of Frederick, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the First Baptist Church, 201 East Grand Avenue, Frederick, with Rev. Mike Logan and Rev. Ronnie Morgan officiating.  Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Jaelyn went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 4, 2024, in Frederick.

Jaelyn Ray James Golden was born April 23, 2005, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Clifton Ray and Christy Lynn (Stultz) Golden.  He attended Frederick Public Schools where he played on the Frederick Bomber Football Team and worked at Sonic.  He graduated from Frederick High School with the Class of 2023.  After graduation, he was employed by Dollar General and Tillman County Sheriff's Department, as a deputy jailer.

Jaelyn loved his sleep!  He was a prankster, he loved singing in the shower, the louder the better.  He was always happy; he loved to make people laugh and never met a stranger. Jaelyn loved his tattoos.  One of the best things in his life was hanging out with his friends, who were his "brothers"!  He was active in the Deep Water Ministries in Frederick, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his mother, Christy Stultz and Floyd Stewart of Frederick, Oklahoma; four sisters, ZaKyra Golden of Frederick, Oklahoma, Zariya Golden of Frederick, Oklahoma, Kamauri Addison of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Kalynn Stultz of Frederick, Oklahoma; one brother, Kenyan Stewart of Frederick, Oklahoma;  his grandmother, Patsy Stultz of Frederick, Oklahoma;  three aunts, Amy Hernandez of Frederick, Oklahoma, Angela DeRouen of Houston, Texas, and Sheila Vaughn of Lawton, Oklahoma;  two uncles, Robert Stultz of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Johnny Biggins of Lawton, Oklahoma; one nephew, Melik Addison of Frederick, Oklahoma; a brother by another mother, Kolby Robbins of Frederick, Oklahoma; and many cousins, other family members, and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Golden; his grandparents, Robert Stultz, Marvella Miles, and Leroy and Imogene McBride; one aunt, Lori Biggins; and one uncle Gerald Vaughn.
