Celebration of Life for James Leonard Mason, of Frederick, will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 W. Gladstone Ave., Frederick, Oklahoma.  James passed from this life on Thursday, November 19, 2020,  in Frederick, at the age of 39 years, 11 months and 4 days.

James Leonard Mason was born on December 15, 1980, to Willie Don and Barbara Ann (Drake) Mason in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  He attended Mangum Public Schools, graduating from Mangum High School in 1997.  He and Song Sun Cho were united in marriage on December 14, 2006, in Childress, Texas.  James had previously been employed with McDonald's in Altus for many years.

He is survived by his wife Song Sun Cho of Woodward, Oklahoma; three sons, L.J. Mason of Woodward, Oklahoma, Corey Mason of Woodward, Oklahoma and Cedric Mason of Mangum, Oklahoma; his mother and step-father, Barbara and Tom Glover of Frederick, Oklahoma; his father and step-mother, Willie and Sheila Mason of Altus, Oklahoma; two brothers, Willie Don Mason, Jr. of Altus, Oklahoma and Thomas Mason and his wife Toneisha of Norman, Oklahoma; and other family members and many friends.
