Jammy Allen Owens was born October 30, 1970, in Clinton, Oklahoma to William Arthur and Betty Ann (White) Owens. He attended Frederick Public Schools, transferring to Davidson where he graduated from Davidson High School in 1990. He served in the United States Army National Guard. Jammy worked as a floorhand on a drilling rig and was later promoted to driller. After his health began to decline he was employed by Halliburton Corporation.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Bill and Dollie Owens of Davidson, Oklahoma; his mother and step-father, Betty and Larry Humphrey of Frederick, Oklahoma; one son, Brent Allen Owens of the home; four step-children, Phillip Hernandez of Lawton, Oklahoma, Jamie Velasquez of Duncan, Oklahoma, Ashley Pelles of Yukon, Oklahoma and Sara Velasquez of Velma, Oklahoma; two brothers, Marshall Owens and wife Emma of Davidson, Oklahoma and Billy Ray Owens of Altus, Oklahoma; three step-brothers, Drew McWilliams and wife Carla of Indiahoma, Oklahoma, Dean McWilliams of Tyler, Texas and Dale McWilliams of Abilene, Texas; ten grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his step-sister, Dollie Rodgers.
