Funeral service for Janice Sue (Keyes) Owens, age 64, of Frederick will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2016 at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.  Mrs. Owens passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Memorial Nursing Center in Frederick.

Janice Sue Keyes Owens was born on March 20, 1951 in Vernon, Texas to Kelton Walter and Betty Jean (Travis) Keyes.  She attended school in Davidson and graduated from Davidson High School in 1969.  She was united in marriage to Terry Dave Owens on April 8, 2000 in Lawton.  He preceded her in death.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Davidson.

She is survived by one daughter, Misty Coleman and her husband Ricky of Davidson; two brothers, Billy Keyes of Sherman, Texas and Jimmy Keyes of Davidson; two sisters Debby Harris and her husband Rex of Amarillo, Texas and Terri Iven and her husband Jeff of Longdale, three grandchildren, Logan, Luke and Lanee Coleman; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and many friends. We would like to say a special thank you to the many care givers who loved her at the Memorial Nursing Center.

Visitation will be on Thursday evening, March 10, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Memorial Nursing Center Fund in memory of Janice Owens.
