Funeral service for Jay Vance Dysart, age 57, of Tipton, Oklahoma will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick with Joe Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mr. Dysart passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at his home in Tipton.

Jay Vance Dysart was born on April 27, 1961, in Altus, Oklahoma to J.W. and Leta Phyllis (Newsom) Dysart. He attended Tipton Public Schools, graduating from Tipton High School in 1979. Jay later attended Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton where he graduated with an Associate Degree in Farm Management. He had farmed and ranched with his father and brother. He was united in marriage to Deborah Ann Davis on September 20, 1989, in Tipton, Oklahoma. He enjoyed raising paint horses and riding motorcycles. He was a member of the Tipton First United Methodist Church.

Vance is survived by his wife Deborah of the home; one brother, Nick L. Dysart and his wife Jan of Tipton, Oklahoma; his mother-in-law, Annetta Davis of Tipton, Oklahoma; seven nieces and nephews, Justin Dysart and his wife Amy of Lawton, Oklahoma, Tyler Dysart and Amanda Kincaid of Marlow, Oklahoma, Lindsey Dysart of Dallas, Texas, Caleb Ward and his wife Caitlyn of Tipton, Oklahoma, Wesley Ward and his wife Brandi of Altus, Oklahoma, Cassie Stone and her husband Charlie of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Kayla Ward of Tipton, Oklahoma; one great-niece, Kimber Dysart, and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Phyllis Dysart; one sister-in-law, Karen Dysart; and his father-in-law, Charles Davis, Jr.
