Funeral service for former Frederick resident, Jay Glen Ryan, age 57, of Blair, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Jay Glen passed away on Wednesday morning, May 22, 2019 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Jay Glen Ryan was born on May 11, 1962, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Jay G. and Louise Elton (Caudill) Ryan. He attended Frederick Public Schools. He was united in marriage to Karen Sue Key on November 21, 1979, in Vernon, Texas. He was an iron worker. He enjoyed living life to the fullest. He loved hanging out with his kids, riding horses and rodeos. He also enjoyed working with his miniature bucking bulls and longhorn cattle.

He is survived by one son, Jay Lavurn Ryan of Mangum, Oklahoma; five daughters, Jessica Hopingardner and her husband Chris of Mangum, Oklahoma, Kara Ryan of Mangum, Oklahoma, Jackie Cartwright and her husband Gary of Mangum, Oklahoma, Rachel Ryan of Sayre, Oklahoma and Zachary Ryan of Mangum, Oklahoma; three sisters, Tina Ryan of Davidson, Oklahoma, Gina Wells and her husband Donnie of Frederick, Oklahoma and Sherri Ryan of Carnegie, Oklahoma, sixteen grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; J.G. Ryan and Louise Ryan Grupe.
