Celebration of Life for Jeff Marshall age 66, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2024, at the Bomber Hangar in Frederick with Pastor Ronnie Morgan and Pastor Albert Deleon officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Jeff passed away Tuesday February 27, 2024, at the Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. A visitation will be held Thursday evening, February 29, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 West Gladstone Avenue, Frederick, Oklahoma. The family has requested that friends and family wear O.U. or Bomber attire to the visitation.
Jeffrey Dale "Jeff" Marshall was born February 22, 1958, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Wesley Duaine and Betty Jane (Murphy) Marshall. Jeff started elementary school in Davidson, Oklahoma. The family moved from one place to another before moving to El Reno, Oklahoma, where he attended high school. He later received his GED. On December 16, 1984, he and Donna Rose Chandler were united in marriage at their home in Manitou, Oklahoma.
Jeff worked for Cummins Construction Company in Enid, Oklahoma, as a road construction foreman. He was an avid Oklahoma Sooner and Frederick Bomber fan as he enjoyed all types of school activities. For many years he was a certified scuba diver, and his pastime was fishing. Jeff's family was his life. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an active member of the Frederick Quarterback Club. He and Donna attended Deep Water Ministries in Frederick, where the fellowship of his church family was very important to him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Donna Marshall of the home; his children, Misty Brace and her husband Curtis of Bridge Creek, Oklahoma, Chris Marshall and his wife Latasha of New Braunfels, Texas, Jason Marshall and Stacey Kelley of New Braunfels, Texas, and Melanie Bryer and her husband Brett of Mustang, Oklahoma; one brother, Jack Marshall and his wife Debbie of Enid, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, Ethan Marshall, Katelyn Hicks and her husband Tanner, Sidney Frisch and her husband Will, Dade Brace, Braeden Hefner, Staelon Brace, Dax Brace, Lakyn Bryer, Makarah Hefner, Zage Brace, and Chase Marshall; two great-grandchildren, Elena Frisch and Rhyker Marshall; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Albert Deleon, Manuel Copeland, Molly Chandler, and Edna Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Betty Marshall, and one brother, Jim Marshall.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Frederick Quarterback Club, in memory of Jeff Marshall.
