Obituary

Funeral service for former Frederick resident, Jeffrey Mack "Jeff" Rector age 51, of Altus, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick with Rev. Dr. Al Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Rector passed away Tuesday evening, November 20, 2018, at the United Regional Health Care in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Jeffrey Mack Rector was born February 4, 1967, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Johnny Mack and Yvonne Dean (Burgess) Rector. He attended Frederick Public Schools, graduating from Frederick High School in 1985. He later attended Cameron University graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Computer Science. He was united in marriage to Tammy J. Porter on July 1, 1995, in Vernon, Texas. He owned and managed the Bomber Inn Restaurant in Frederick for over twenty years. He also served as Tillman County Civil Defense Director for eighteen years. In 2018, he moved to Altus where he became the Emergency Management Director for the City of Altus. He was a member of the Martha Road Baptist Church of Altus. He was an avid Frederick Bomber Football fan. He enjoyed all types of O.U. Sports; and loved fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Rector; his mother, Yvonne Rector of Altus, Oklahoma; his children, John Ross Kimes and his wife Carissa of Norman, Oklahoma, Kristen Atteberry and her husband Grant of Norman, Oklahoma and Joshua Rector of Norman, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Oliver and Caleb Kimes; one sister, Judith Fritz; and his nieces and nephews, Donna, Cene', Shawn, and Christopher Fritz.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Rector.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Frederick Booster Club in memory of Jeffrey Mack "Jeff" Rector.
He may be viewed on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and then on Sunday from 9:00 a.m., until the time of service.
