Jerry C. Castlebury, age 92, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday morning, February 11, 2024, at the McMahon Tomlinson Nursing Center, in Lawton, Oklahoma, with his family by his side.  No services are planned at this time.

Jerry Colman Castlebury was born on August 11, 1931, to Wayne and Hattie (Woodre) Castlebury in Vernon, Texas.  He attended Lawton Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1950.  He and Tennie Louise Barnes were united in marriage on July 2, 1988, at the First Baptist Church in Cache, Oklahoma.  Jerry worked at the Armory at Fort Sill, Lawton, Oklahoma for thirty-nine years.  He participated at the One-Armed Dove Hunt at Olney, Texas, and was a card-carrying member of the NRA.  Jerry and Tennie were also members of the First Baptist Church of Cache, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife Tennie of the home; two sons, Stacy Castlebury of Texas, and Ronnie Castlebury and his wife Teresa of Elgin, Oklahoma; two daughters, Gail Castlebury of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Becky Castlebury of Arlington, Texas; stepdaughter, Terry Nieves and her husband Joe of Lawton, Oklahoma; brother, Gene Castlebury and his wife Becky of Albuquerque, New Mexico; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Hattie Castlebury; brother, Burl Castlebury.
